　　英语，你是爱还是怕？我相信很多人会说怕。其实我也很怕，但参加了今天的活动，让我克服了对英语的畏惧。

　　星期六上午，我们小记者来到英汉双语学校参观。刚到学校，老师就给我们每人发了一本《老鼠男孩》。翻开第一页，密密麻麻的都是英语，真让人头疼，还好后面有中文翻译。

　　老师把我们带到一间教室，大屏幕上正放着一个五六岁的孩子流利地读英语课文的视频，真厉害。

　　这时，校长走了进来，他就是这所学校的创办者——陈雷。一直听过陈雷英语很有名，这次可得好好学学。陈校长用幽默风趣的语言告诉我们学英语的重要性，并教给我们学英语的方法——学英语最大的敌人是“忘”，所以我们应该通过说、做并举的方式将“忘”降低到最小化。在陈校长的带领下，我们用了几分钟的时间就将一首英语诗歌铭记在心，厉害吧！

　　这次活动让我十分难忘，不仅让我不再惧怕英语，也让我学到了一个好的学习方法，让我的成绩更加进步。

　　Not only that she had pulled up my scores and I felt that science was not really scary after all ! 　　M06班表演的是《小红帽》，S16表演的是《三只小猪》，而我们S38班表演的是《小狮子找食物》。我们有9个演员，分别表演：雄狮、小狮、小白兔、三只小熊、两只小松鼠、小女孩。

　　我扮演的是小松鼠，我戴着松鼠头套，夹着尾巴，在一边候场，等小熊们唱完，我就入场了。我一开始很紧张，但想到要为S38班争光，心里就不紧张了。我大胆地上了台，和小狮子对话，惹得Tina老师笑个不停。

　　我们的'评委是外国人，来自英语俱乐部。最后，我们获得了第二名，他给我们颁了奖。我真开心啊！

　　今年我们组制订的英语学科活动为：“小学生英语作文大赛”，主要是五、六年级的学生参赛。

　　开学初，我在我们组订的英语报纸上看到了“小学生英语作文大赛”的消息，免报名费，但是，又仔细一读，每个参赛选手要订阅全年的报纸，大约三十多元，这等于是有报名费的。在教研会上讨论时，大家认为订阅报纸钱数过多，订阅的报纸也没有时间组织学生学习，不如在五、六年级组织比赛作文，不收报名费，成为我们组的学科活动，这一共识达成之后，我们五、六年级的四位英语教师就把任务布置下去了：题目自拟，题材不限，字数达50个单词以上，语言流畅，书写美观。

　　我们给学生的写作时间是一个月。

　　十一月，我们的活动正式开展。经过统计，此次作文比赛共收上来英语文章240余篇，其中五年级110篇，六年级130篇。经过各位教师的评选，批改，共评出一等奖20人，二等奖50人，三等奖80人，鼓励参与奖90人。各奖项已经发了奖品作为奖励。

　　本次活动的举行，五、六年级的学生参与性强，经常有孩子来问老师怎么选题，用什么时态来写，这个句型这样写行不行，这句话中的这个词能不能用别的词来代替。他们写好以后，还请教师批改，再工工整整的重新誊抄一遍，在写作文的过程当中，他们的词汇增多了，句型运用更灵活了，就连书写也美观了，许多学生有了收获。

　　本次活动的举行，体现了小学英语课程标准的对学生的写的能力的要求，并且高于新课标的要求，对学生的写作能力是个锻炼，提高了他们写作的积极性，促使他们积极主动的学习，从要我背单词到我要积极的多背单词。学习态度发生了转变。体现了新课标的要求。

　　本次活动也有值得注意的地方：
