When I was a little girl, I didn＇t live a happy life. Because I was not able to do what my mom and teachers wanted me to do. I didn＇t get high marks. I liked doing things that they thought not proper enough. Only dad was on my side. He encouraged me to do what I liked. He told me to believe in myseff. He knew that I loved playing the violin, so he bought one for me and asked someone to teach me. Now I was very good at it. I once played abroad and get the third prize in a world violin contest for children.I would bee an excellent violin player if I worked hard and always believed in myself.
我的童年并不快乐。因为妈妈和老师想让我做的事情我一件都做不好。我考试得不了高分，我喜欢做一些他们认为是不正确的事情。只有爸爸支持我。他鼓励我做自己喜欢做的事情，告诉我要相信自己。他知道我喜欢拉小提琴，就给我买了一把，还请来了老师教我。我现在已经能够拉得很好了。我曾经在世界儿童小提琴比赛中获得三等奖。如果我努力学习并且一直相信自己，我一定会成为一名出色的小提琴家。

One day, a philosopher（哲人） was having an important class in a famous university.
He was an experienced professor. The students had expected him for a very long time. The man looked at every student in the classroom, and then said slowly in a low voice, “What’s this?” He picked up a piece of paper and lifted it with a smile.
“Paper,” said a student. “Yeah,” then he threw the paper on the ground, and trampled（踩踏） it under his shoes. “Now, what is it?” “Dirty paper.
“OK,” The professor then kneaded（揉捏） the paper in his hand. “Now, what can it be?” “Rubbish.” “No, no, no,” the philosopher picked up a pen and drew a running horse on the paper.
Wow! The dirty footsteps were just the land the horse running on. After a minute, it was torn（撕破） by the professor.
The students were shocked. They wanted to know what they could learn from this.
In the end, the philosopher said a sentence: “ Your life should be mastered（掌握） in your hands.”
From the story, we can know that we should face our life. If we are poor, we should change it by ourselves. Only then will we have a chance of finding our own value.

There is a interesting, which some people like to tell you how to do. But if you act on their ideas and fail, they are never willing to be responsibility for your fail and say:" It has nothing to do with me." Hence, we shouldn't let others' words dispose our fate. Of course, you can find some your mistakes from others' advice. But you need to know who will make a decision finally. If we act on our plans and fail, we won't feel regretful. But if you act on others' plans and fail, you will regret and complain.
Finally, fail is not horrible for us, it is more terrible that you fear to believe yourself.
