　　My mother always tells me not to eat too much candy, but I just couldn’t control myself. Once, I felt my teeth hurt and did not feel like eating. My mother took me to see the dentist and I was so afraid. The doctor used his machine to fix my teeth, I was terrified and cried. Since then, I realize the importance of taking care of my teeth. So I do not eat the candy too often. I will wash my teeth before I sleep, what’s more, the ice food and the sour food will be rejected by me. My friends envy me for having the white teeth, for I look so healthy and beautiful.

　　我的妈妈总是告诉我不要吃太多的糖果，但我就是无法控制自己。有一次，我觉得牙齿很疼，不想吃东西。妈妈带我去看牙医，我很害怕。医生用他的机器修理我的牙齿，我吓坏了就哭了。从那时起，我意识到保护牙齿的重要性。所以我不常吃糖果了。在我睡觉之前我会刷牙，而且我不吃冰的和酸的食物。我的朋友羡慕我有洁白的牙齿，因为我看起来很健康又美丽。

She wanted to ask her brother for help. But he was playing the guitar. He said,” Keep out.” Then Maria called her best friend Sophia up. She wanted to get some advice on the phone. Sophia told her,” You should fina a part time job. if you are working hard, your boss will pay for it..”

　　Frank has just got off the train in the evening.He wants to call one of his friends to pick him up at once.He looks for a while and at last finds a telephone booth.But when he gets there, he sees a lady already in.There are no other public telephones nearby,so he has.to wait. He waits and waits.

　　The lady on the phone is just talking andlaughing.She seems as if she doesn't notice Frank. After about half an hour,the lady puts down the receiver.Frank feels a bit released.

　　She is finished finally,he thinks. But to his surprise,the lady picks it up again,fishes a coin from her pocket and pushes it into the slot."Oh, no!"Frank says to himself."She is making another call."
